NIght to Shine is an unforgettable worldwide celebration, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs that are 14 years old and up. This will be our 4th year hosting, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of our Honored Guests!

Registration for this exciting event will open Sunday, November 29th at 2pm.

City Church Space Coast is honored to be a host site for Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine 2027 for our 4th year, and we are so excited to celebrate a fantastic evening with our special needs community.

Volunteers

Night to Shine would not happen without hundreds of volunteers and we're so grateful for them!

What you need to know to serve.

Volunteers for this event are required to be background checked for the safety of all guests. There is a nominal cost for the check that we request each volunteer to pay if able to.

Volunteers are also required to attend a training by the Tim Tebow Foundation to be eligible to serve. There will be two options for training available in January. Both trainings will be held in the City Church Space Coast Worship Center.

How early and where can I check in at registration on February 12th at City Church?

Check in will begin at 5:45pm on the west side (far right once you pull in) of the building near the chapel.

What time does the event begin and end?

The event begins at 6pm and ends at 9pm.

Where should I drop off and pick up my honored guest?

Drop off is on the west side of the building by the Chapel. Pick up will be on the East side of the building in the Worship Center.

Can parents, caregivers, or family members stay during the event?

Parents and caregivers are welcome to remain at the event and may enjoy the evening from our designated Respite Space. For the safety and comfort of all guests, everyone attending the prom area must be 14 years of age or older.

Because space in the prom area is limited, we are unable to accommodate caregivers in the prom area for the duration of the event. However, if a caregiver needs to briefly enter the prom area to provide medication or check on their honored guest, a completed background check is required.

Is transportation provided to and from the event?

We are unable to provide transportation to or from the event.

I am a caregiver. What can I do if I want to be in the prom space with my honored guest?

Anyone wanting to be in the prom space needs to complete a background check-

What should my honored guest wear to Night to Shine?

This is a formal prom event, but we want everyone to feel comfortable and confident! Guests are welcome to wear whatever they feel most comfortable wearing. Formal attire is encouraged, but there is no specific dress code. Shoes are required. For everyone’s safety, bathing suits and swimwear are not permitted.

What if I need help with my nails or hair?

We will have a salon experience that will help with basic hair, nails, body spray, shoe shine etc. Guests will have access to this space after going through registration. 

Will food and drinks be provided?

Yes, all honored guests will be served a full dinner with lots of options, snacks, and desserts. Caregivers and parents will also receive a catered meal including desserts in the Respite area.

Are there options for dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, please note any allergies on your NTS Medical Emergency Information Form at Registration.

What if my honored guest has sensory sensitivities or needs a quiet space?

We have a Sensory Room where Honored Guests can take a break, grab a bottle of water, and relax when they need to.

Is Night to Shine wheelchair accessible? What if my honored guest needs assistance with mobility, communication, eating, or other personal needs?

Yes! Please note any accommodations on the NTS Medical Emergency Information Form at Registration. 

 

Every Honored Guest will have a buddy with them the entire time. However if they require more advanced care,a caregiver or support person can stay with them, but they will be required to complete a background check. Background Check

Will there be a photographer/videographer taking pictures?How will I receive the photos from the event?

Absolutely! We will send a Google Photo link after the event to all registered guests so that they can have access to all videos and photos from the event.

Will there be dancing and other activities besides the prom?

Yes! Dancing is a requirement. Other activities will include a photo booth, face painting, caricature artist, limo ride, swag bag, and more.

Will there be a king and queen crowning ceremony?

Yes, around 8:30pm we will have a crowning ceremony. Caregivers will be given the opportunity to enter the prom space at this time to see the crowning ceremony.

Can my honored guest request a specific volunteer or buddy?

The Tim Tebow Foundation requires that we place buddies with their honored guests the day of the event.

What happens if my honored guest becomes overwhelmed or needs to leave early?

For the safety and well-being of every Honored Guest, emergency contact information will be securely included on each guest’s name tag. If an Honored Guest needs to leave the event unexpectedly or if an incident occurs that requires follow-up, our event team will contact the designated Emergency Contact.

What if I registered but can no longer attend?

Please send an email to NightToShine@CityTeam.cc so that we can give your spot to another guest on the waitlist.
